Pediatric Dentistry is a department where preventive and therapeutic treatments are carried on for oral and dental health of children aged between 0-12. The first examinations, diagnosis and treatment planning of our patients are performed by pediatric dentists. In case of need for additional imaging, our patients are referred to the Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology Department with their parents. After the treatment planning of our patient is completed, an appointment is arranged for treatment procedures. In our department;

• Protective treatments to prevent dental caries (fissure sealant, fluoride),
• Fillings and root canal treatments of decayed temporary and permanent teeth,
• Extraction of teeth that cannot be treated,
• Space maintainers that prevent space loss caused by early tooth loss,
• Diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of traumatic dental and supporting tissue injuries,
• Follow-up of tooth eruption and dentition and prevention of deviations from normal,
• Protective and preventive orthodontic treatments
• Diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of gum diseases of children and young individuals are carried out.

Additionally, in our department, treatment of young children who cannot adapt to the treatment process due to physical and / or mental disabilities, and patients with dental anxiety are carried out by our anesthesiologist and pedodontists under sedation and general anesthesia.
